Group Reservations Policies and Procedures:
- A minimum of 20 tickets must be purchased to qualify for the group rate. All group purchases are final.
- The group ticket rate is good Tuesday through Friday ONLY with advanced reservation.
- Group ticket rates are available Weekends and Holidays with pavilion rental ONLY. Group ticket pricing and entry to the facility are only guaranteed with advance purchase of group tickets.
- Group reservations are required to qualify for the group ticket rate and must be made at least 48 hours in advance.
- Groups are required to make full payment at least 48 hours prior to their arrival to expedite their entry into the facility and guarantee entry in instances of the facility being at capacity.
- Payment will be required prior to any guest entering the facility.
- No billing or invoicing will be allowed. Tickets are non-refundable
- All reservations are first-come, first-serve, and are subject to the availability and capacity of the waterpark on any given day.
- Groups may arrive at any time during the hours of operation. Only, advanced payment (prior to arrival) will guarantee access regardless of facility capacity status.

- The purchase or use of a group ticket indicates your consent for photographic images for promotional purposes.
- Accepted payments: cash, check (payable to PWC), VISA, Discover, American Express, and Mastercard.
- Outside food or drink (with the exception of water) will not be permitted into the facility. This includes bag lunches and/or other snacks. We recommend leaving food and drinks on the bus.
- Splashdown Waterpark offers preordered meal vouchers for groups for an additional fee. Meal vouchers must be preordered and paid for at least 48 hours prior to arrival.
- All bags, coolers, and backpacks are subject to search.
- All food and beverage prices within the facility include tax.
- The following safety and supervision ratios must be maintained at all times: – Ages 6 & older – 1 adult for every 10 children – Under 6 – 1 adult for every 5 children.
- Coast guard approved life jackets are recommended for guests under 48”.
- Coast Guard approved life jackets are supplied at no charge to guests on a first come, first-serve basis.
- If inclement weather that causes the facility to close during operations, rain checks will be issued to guests per the facility rain check policy. Group rain checks will be issued to the purchaser of the group tickets only and will not be issued to individuals in the group. – Rain checks will not be issued within 2 hours of scheduled closing time.
- Use of a group ticket constitutes acceptance by the patron of the rules and regulations of the Prince William County Department of Parks & Recreation (PWCDPR) aquatic facilities.
- All swimming guests must wear proper swimming attire. Cutoff jeans, tank tops, or gym shorts are not acceptable swimming attire.
- PWCDPR is not responsible for any lost or stolen items from lockers or park grounds.
- Reservations must be made at least 48 hours in advance.
- Reservation date and time is secured with full payment.
- All reservations are first-come, first-serve, and are subject to availability.
- Rental hours for pavilions that are located within Ben Lomond Park (outside of the waterpark) are dawn to dusk and all parties must vacate Ben Lomond Park at dusk.
- PWCDPR reserves the right to conduct a background investigation of any rental group.
- Checks will not be accepted within 14 days of rental date. •Accepted payments: cash, check (made payable to Prince William County), VISA, Discover, American Express, and Master Card.
- SplashDown Waterpark team members will contact rentals groups 24 hours in advance of rental date if inclement weather is forecasted for the rental day to invite the rental guest to reschedule or request a refund. – Inclement weather is defined as: temperatures below 70 degrees Fahrenheit, prolonged precipitation, sustained storms containing thunder and lightening
- In the event that SplashDown Waterpark does not open due to inclement weather, refunds will be issued to rentals scheduled inside the waterpark. Refunds for pavilion rentals within Ben Lomond Park will be issued at the discretion of management.
- If SplashDown Waterpark closes for inclement weather during the operating day, rentals that have begun prior to closure will not receive a refund. Any rental that has not yet begun, will be issued a refund or the ability to reschedule.
- Cancellations must be made at least 14 days prior to rental date for a refund, less a $50 administrative fee. Cancellations made less than 14 days prior to rental will result in no refund.
- Off season cancellations of Shrimp Shack will not receive a refund. In season/weekday cancellations of Small Island rental will not receive a refund. Cabana rentals are not subject to refunds.
- The contracted party is responsible for cleaning the pavilion and area surrounding pavilion after use. All trash and debris must be properly disposed in containers.
- PWCDPR is in no way responsible for injury or damage to property or persons using the facility. The contracted party is solely responsible and in no way will hold the Prince William County, or its employees, responsible for damages. The contracted party agrees to pay for any damages and/or excessive trash removal.
- Alcohol use/consumption is not permitted within SplashDown Waterpark.
- Alcohol use/consumption is not permitted on Ben Lomond Park grounds without an ABC License. If you wish to have alcohol on the premises for your event, you must submit a valid ABC license to SplashDown management 7 days prior to your event.
- The use of a DJ or sound systems may be requested for rentals outside of the waterpark and will require prior approval from SplashDown management. Volume may not interfere with the park public announcement system. DJ’s /Sound systems are not permitted within waterpark limits.
- The contracted party is prohibited from selling items or products of any kind, including but not limited to food, drink, alcohol, or merchandise on Prince William County property, which includes SplashDown Waterpark and Ben Lomond Park.
- If security coverage is deemed necessary, the PWCDPR Chief Park Ranger will be notified by a PWCDPR representative.
- Security must be provided by PWCDPR Park Rangers or the PWC Police Department. Additional fees incurred by security provided are due at the time of event booking.
- All pavilions in Ben Lomond Park have charcoal grills available for use. No portable or additional grills are permitted.
